It’s Thursday again. My, how the weeks just seem to be flying by lately. I can’t believe that we are in July already and 2012 is already half over. It really makes me think and evaluate how I have spent the first half of this year. It is rather humbling when I realize that I will never get those day, hours, minutes back to do over.
Here is the WORDart for this week. I hope you find it useful.

"In the beginning God designed a plan that involved the creation of man. For man, He would chose to love and care for, and man, in turn, could chose to love and serve Him. Basically, the purpose of mankind was to seek after the Lord, to love Him with all of our might, heart and soul. The second purpose, is to reach those who do not know or understand the love of God, to realize their purpose in His plan. It comes down to a simple statement. We were created to make His praise glorious. The definition of glorious is “delightful, wonderful, and completely enjoyable”. The Bible speaks often of God’s desire for a sacrifice which was a sweet smelling savor unto Him. Simply put, it got His attention. It spoke of love and honor for a God in who it was a token of praise to. In this day and age, we no longer physically build altars to lay sacrifices upon, but we are called to bring forth the “sacrifices of praise.” In achieving our first purpose in our relationship with our Creator, we are to make His praise glorious. In every word we speak, every action we perform, in the life we lead, our desire should be to create a lifestyle which is delightful unto our God, is wonderful to Him and brings forth a sweet smelling savor. Whether it is a time of worship in the sanctuary where we magnify His name verbally or a time of worship where we live a life which exalts Him literally. This spills over into our second purpose as those around us catch sight of this sacrifice. They may ask, they may not, but this is when we reach out and sing forth the honor of God’s name. We do this by sharing our personal testimony, telling others of how good God is and all that He has done for us. When our soul overflows and cries out hallelujah this is completely enjoyable unto God. How can we withhold this sacrifice, for as David so aptly put it “but verily God hath heard me; he hath attended to the voice of my prayer. Blessed be God, which hath not turned away my prayer, nor his mercy from me!” So stop and take a little extra time to “sing forth the honour of his name: make his praise glorious!”
I made a printable for you. As usual, it is 4x6. The graphics I used are from Raspberry Road Designs, Shadowhouse Creations and StarSunflower Studio.

I would love to feature some artists that have used my WORDart on their cards and projects. If you are interested in sharing here on my blog, please email me (contact me button under header). You don’t need to have a blog, in fact, this is a great opportunity if you don’t have a blog to share what you have created with others.
Have a great day!

This is just a wonderful scripture! I'm not much of a singer but I know that when I sing for my Saviour he accepts my effort. How can we not sing, shout, proclaim Him when we've been touch by His incredible grace and salvation! Thank you Karen and Karissa!
