I am thrilled today to feature Abby on my blog. Abby’s friendship has been the greatest blessing I have received from starting my blog. She has such a gift for encouraging others and knowing just when it is needed. There have been many times when I have been going through a tough time or having a rough day when I would find an encouraging email from her in my inbox. She would say just the words I needed to hear and let me know that she was praying for me. I am so thankful for friends like that. Abby, thank you so much for your friendship. I appreciate you!
Abby has incredible talent in the digi world. She loves to create things digitally, especially vintage things, and I am always amazed at her talent. I don’t think I could ever pick a favorite creation of Abby’s. I love them all. She has a very generous spirit and most everything she creates she makes available to others on her blog. In fact, everything I am sharing with you today you can find as a freebie on her blog.
Here’s Abby~
Hi ~ my given name is Abigail Rosemarie, but I’m known to all as Abby. I’m honored that Karen has asked to feature me on her blog. I was so happy when I found her Scripture WORDart as I love to digitally incorporate scripture into my vintage images or photography. I share “Scripture Thursday” each week on my blog and I often use Karen’s WORDart as the verse for the week. You’ll find bits and pieces of encouragement, along with many free vintage images and scripture graphics if you visit.
I live in a small coastal community in Maine. I’ve been married 21 years to my best friend Bill, who happens to pastor my childhood church. We have three children between us; who are all married to wonderful people that are perfect for them. They have given us five little grandchildren to love. I LOVE being a nana. I’ve played the piano since I was 4 years old and take great comfort in playing the old hymns. My tween – teenage girls Sunday School class is one of the highlights of my week. I have a relatively quiet life and spend my time with family, friends, and blogging at Little Birdie Blessings.
One of my most favorite things to do is walk the beach and look for shells or rocks, gaze out at the ocean and breathe in God’s awesomeness. I also have great satisfaction in photographing nature and capturing the beauty around me.
Personal trials have given me the desire to reach out to others and let them know there is a loving God who cares more about them than they can comprehend. He will help them through any trial they are facing. When I read 2 Corinthians 1:3-4, I know that any trial I experienced was worth it if I can help someone else.
Isn’t her work just amazing? Be sure to stop by her blog and visit. I know you will be blessed by her art as well as her words of encouragement.
Have a blessed day!
