My husband and I celebrated our 22nd anniversary on July 29th. This is the card I made for him. I admit I threw it together and it is not my best work, but he said he loved it. I think he even said it is one of his favorites…he’s so sweet. It has all his favorite sweet things…ice cream, cupcakes and bubble gum. I started with kraft cardstock and stamped the polka dots in Versamark ink, then colored them in randomly with Copic Markers. I stamped the images onto the tags then added glitter and colored in parts of them with Prismacolor pencils. I used the extra large rickrack border die to cut a piece of Enchanted Evening cardstock. I then added texture with the Sunshine impression plate and added a strip of glitter to the middle. I adhered the tags with foam tape and then added the finishing touches of twine-threaded buttons and a gem and heart sticker. I realized I forgot to take a picture of the inside but it says, “You make life sweet”. So appropriate!
How has your summer been? I have spent the last few days in front of the computer making lesson plans for school. I actually love the planning and organizing of the school year even though it is very time consuming. I am looking forward to starting the school year and getting back into a routine. I think my kids are, too. It is always nice to hear them say they can’t wait for school to start. I just wish that the excitement lasted longer. haha
I am off to a Ladies Conference this weekend. I am SO excited!! I am really looking forward to a girl’s getaway, it’s been a long time. Hope your weekend is blessed!

Wow, I'm loving all the details. You "threw this together"? Even the buttons have different colored twine. Have fun at your getaway!
Love all the yummies on this – perfect for a man with the use of kraft and primary colors.

Super Cute! Happy belated anniversary.
Such a cute and clever card. . and I wanted to let you know that I've used another of your free WordArt scriptures between the Stampin Up Summer Splendor paper and your beautiful word art,it turned out so lovely. . .http://www.cpcmag.com/gallery/member-galleries/p5140-summer-flowers-case.html I really didn't have to do anything except print it out, mount it and add a couple of embellishments. Thank you for being such a blessing in helping to share God's precious Word!
Happy belated anniversary! No wonder he liked the card.
