Word Art Wednesday-James 1:12

Hello there!

Here is this week’s Word Art Wednesday WORDart.  I am sorry for the late posting. A family emergency kept me quite busy.

As I so often do, I read this verse in the Amplified version. I like how the Amplified version breaks it down.  Here is what it says,

“Blessed (happy, to be envied) is the man who is patient under trial and stands up under temptation, for when he has stood the test and been approved, he will receive [the victor’s] crown of life which God has promised to those who love Him.”

I feel lately that my life has been trial after trial after trial, and I am not sure how patient I have been through it all.  Maybe that is why the trials seem to keep coming.  But I will say this, that just when I feel like I cannot take another thing and that other thing comes, God in His great mercy sustains me.  I don’t know what I would do without His strength and peace.  In these past few days, my husband has been very sick and spent a few days in the hospital.  He is home now, but still not 100% and the doctors could find nothing wrong, but I feel such a peace about it all.  I know that God’s got this and he is in God’s hands.  I can honestly say that I KNOW God gives us the strength to stand the test.  God is ALWAYS faithful!

You are such a blessing. Satan tries to hurt those who are closest to God and who help and encourage others. The words from the song, "Even in the valley, God is good." have helped me many times. Will be praying for you and your husband. Hugs.
