My Word of the Year, WORDart, and a Printable

Happy 2014!

This week Daydream Designs is sponsoring Word Art Wednesday and are providing the Wordart for this week.  That gives me the chance to share with you something I have created just for you…well, and me too.

I am so excited about this brand new year!  Last year my word was “intentional” and I think I did a pretty good job living intentionally.  Don’t get me wrong, I had days when I wished for do-overs and was totally off the mark.  I didn’t want to just randomly pick a word this year, so I gave it a lot of prayer and consideration.  I wanted a scripture to back up my word and asked the Lord to lay a word and a scripture on my heart for 2014.  I started thinking that it just wasn’t going to happen and that maybe I wasn’t supposed to have a word for 2014, when all of a sudden, there it was…RENEW.  If you read my post yesterday, you know that 2013 was a year of struggles and spiritual lessons.  I am ready for renewal.  That is my prayer for 2014.  Lord, renew my heart, my mind, my family, my marriage, my walk with you, my purpose…renew everything.

Romans 12:2 is the scripture God gave me for 2014.  I created WORDart, then created an 8 x 10 that is already hanging in my craft room where I can see it everyday, and I am offering them both to you for your personal use.

As with all my WORDart files, the zip file contains both jpg and png files.

Did you chose a word for this year?  If so, what word did you chose, and why did you chose it?  I would love for you to share.

Praying for a blessed year for all of us.

Please know that I thank God for you over and over again, and ask His blessings upon you for all you do for us. We couldn't possibly do what we do without your talents and generous giving. I really do praise Him for you and ask Him to pour out His goodness and provision on you.
Big Hugs,

This is one of the verses I hold dear to my heart. We, who allowed Jesus to take over our hearts were all transformed by the renewing power of the Holy Spirit and though many people could not comprehend what took place, we know deep inside the core of our being that it's God all along. Thanks for this wonderful verse for the New Year and always praying for the Lord to bless you, exceedingly and abundantly in all aspects of life and that you continue to be a blessing and light to the ones God has placed in your path and that includes me...

Hugs in Christ,
JO ANN

These are both wonderful! Thank you for sharing!

This is one of my favorite verses. It is both comforting and convicting! My husband is a pastor and I cannot tell you how often we start out using this verse when counseling. So many battles are won or lost in the mind!
Thanks!!
