Have you ever found yourself in a place where you just felt that you were surrounded by enemies, or situations that were coming against you and beyond your control?  I have…several times.  I have found that when I seek the Lord’s desires and strive to please Him that the situation often changes.  Sometimes I know that change is in me, and other times I see the situation change.  Recently, I have had a new appreciation for a scripture that I have heard all my life.  When we hear a scripture over and over, we can sometimes overlook it, and just quote it out of habit.  Psalm 23:5 says, “Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of my enemies…”  I got so excited when I read this!  God goes before me and prepares to meet my needs.  It doesn’t matter what is going on in my life, or who, or what is coming against me.  I can feel overwhelmed and alone, but God is right there in the midst of it all, strengthening me and meeting my every need.  Nothing and no one stands in His way…He meets our needs right in the midst of the situation.

This picture was taken in the mountains of Pennsylvania.  My family and I were traveling last summer and we came across this beautiful scene.  I had my husband pull over to the side of the road so I could take a picture.  I knew it would look amazing with a scripture.  It is such a peaceful scene, and I just felt it went so well with this scripture.  You are welcome to download and use it for personal use or gift giving.

Have a great week!
