I needed a baby shower gift for a friend who is having her first baby. I always like to make personalized gifts, so I went to Hobby Lobby and purchased some wooden letters and got to work. First, I spray painted them a pretty light pink color, that you can only see on the sides now, but it looks much better than the black letter I started with. Then, I chose some scrapbook paper that would match their nursery colors. I used Nana’s Nursery Baby Girl by DCWV. I used Mod Podge to adhere the paper and then put a few coats on top to seal it. For the embellishments, I used some paper flowers that I had made previously and some ribbon. I added a little tag with the baby’s name and stapled ribbons to the back for the letters to hang from.
Here are some close-ups of the details.
I had it all about done, when I realized that the letter O would make a fabulous frame. This baby is very special to them because they were not able to have a baby on their own. A lot of prayer and medical intervention were needed, but God heard their prayer, so I felt this was the perfect scripture to use. I printed it out and glued it to the back of the frame. I raided my husband’s office for a clear presentation cover and cut it to fit inside. Now, I don’t have to worry about it getting ruined and it looks like a real frame. Love that!
Here is a close-up of the WORDart in the “letter frame”.
And here is the WORDart if you would like to use it. I created it to fit inside this letter, but it would also look very nice printed on a lovely background and framed in an 8 x 10 frame , or you could reduce the size and use it on a card.

As always it is in both png and jpg formats to make it easy for you to use in your projects.
Thank you so much for stopping by today!

What a beautiful baby project! I love the papers/colors you used, and the "O" frame is simply gorgeous! That is the exact verse God gave my f-i-l as a promise that we would have a child! She's been the joy of our lives for 10 years now!
Every life is precious, but I love to hear stories like this one!!
