Happy Thursday!
I pray you all are having a great week. Here is the WORDart I made for you this week.

I separated the verses so you could use them together or separately. You just need to crop the part you want to use if you want to separate them. I started out just doing verse 13, but without Him giving himself for us and redeeming us, we can’t look forward to the hope of His coming. Oh, how I am looking forward to that day when He returns to take us home. I can feel the excitement in the air of His return, can’t you?
Karissa is back this week with an inspiring message.
O Lord my God, When I in awesome wonder,
Consider all the worlds Thy Hands have made;
I see the stars; I hear the rolling thunder,
Thy power throughout the universe displayed.
The popular hymn speaks of God’s wonder and glory that is proven in the world He created. From a simple, humble blade of grass to the towering, majestic mountains. From the rolling of the vast ocean which reflects the pureness of the blue sky, the great Creator’s might and strength is shown in a way we cannot fully comprehend.
And when I think, that God, His Son not sparing;
Sent Him to die, I scarce can take it in;
That on the Cross, my burden gladly bearing,
He bled and died to take away my sin.
And yet the beauty of creation is not the end of His marvelous plan, it continues on as Jesus Christ was crucified for our sins, and we know that every discretion, every mistake, every fault, every burden can be lifted off of our shoulders for He came to bear our burdens. If this isn’t awesome enough, His word shows us that the purpose of His death is the key to salvation, our ticket so to speak, to spend an eternity with Him.
When Christ shall come, with shout of acclamation,
And take me home, what joy shall fill my heart.
Then I shall bow, in humble adoration,
And then proclaim: "My God, how great Thou art!"
Oh what joy does fill my heart at the thought of His glorious coming when He splits the eastern sky and descends to bring His people home. To know that one day I will see my Savior face to face, to be in His presence in a way I have never been before. For now I can bow at His feet and worship Him with no distractions, no flesh, and no sin keeping me back from being where my soul longs to be.
For…then sings my soul, My Saviour God, to Thee,
How great Thou art, How great Thou art.
Then sings my soul, My Saviour God, to Thee,
How great Thou art, How great Thou art!
How my soul cries out and longs for the day when I see Him! What a glorious day that will be! But until then I am preparing, I am reaching, I am seeking. For as the scripture says I am “looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ.” I eagerly await the day when I see the One “Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.”
I have printables! I made several sizes, hopefully that makes up for my lack of printables the past couple of weeks. The graphics I used are by Jodie Lee and Martora. Martora has this great Etsy store that sells really beautiful papers and graphics. If you’re into that sort of thing, you should check it out.
Thank you so much for stopping by today. My hubby and I will be celebrating 24 years of marriage this weekend! I can’t believe that 24 years ago today I was anxiously awaiting my wedding day. How time flies!
Have a great day!

A very happy 24th to you and your husband. My DH and I recently celebrated our 25th with a re-wedding. It was wonderful to do it all over again.
Blessings on your anniversary weekend.

First, I hope your anniversary weekend is filled with more enduring love, and enough happiness to last a lifetime.
I tried to comment yesterday, but my net would not cooperate! I don't comment as often as I should, but I will diligently try to do better. All of your WordArt is safely stored in its own file, and I can't thank you enough for your generosity and inspiring posts... especially this one! Not only did it touch my heart, the familiar lyrics of my favorite song sent chills down my spine! ( and it was 104 degrees here! ) I'm a huge fan of several Christian bands, but when I hear this song, I immediately hear Elvis' s voice! NO ONE can put as much feeling and emotion into that song as he does! So, off to iTunes I go to add it, along with several more of his gospel hits, to my playlist! What a joyous afternoon I had, and it was all because of YOU! You are truly a blessing!
Hugs~

Such an incredible scripture! Praise God sending His Son, our Saviour! I sometimes find myself looking up to the clouds...such a blessed hope!
Karissa, thank you for sharing! This is one of my favourite hymns and I find my self singing it often, just because. Your writing is such a joy and encouragement to read! Thank you!
And Wow Karen! Thanks for all the different sizes of this wonderful art! Now I need to go find a frame!
thank you Karen and Karissa for your generosity with your art and thoughts.
Blessings
Maxine
Karen, thank you so much for the beautiful scripture art. Congratulations to you and your husband. My husband and I will celebrate our 24th anniversary in October. I found you through Little Birdie Blessings. I'm a new follower.
Karissa, this is so beautifully done. Words, that could only be spoken by someone who loves the Lord dearly. Thank you for the time you put into this. I love the old hymns and play the piano for our church. Thanks for helping to keep them alive.
Happy Anniversary Karen, my hubby and I have been married 21 years. Love the WOREDart with the little bird. ~ Abby
