A Pallet Wood Sign

Pallet wood sign www.papercraftmemories.com

I think I should just call my Tuesday posts “Sign Tuesday” since that is what I always seem to post.  Here is yet another sign I made.  I have been wanting a sign for my foyer that used this Bible verse for quite some time now and I finally got around to making one.   I made it from pallet wood and just dry brushed some creamy white and ochre paints on it.  I wanted the letters to be the same color as the bench I just painted in Soldier Blue milk paint so I stenciled the letters using the same paint.  I used my Silhouette to make the stencil.

My boys are all away this week at church camp and a friend’s house and it is just my daughter and I.  We spent yesterday shopping the entire day.  I was exhausted, but enjoyed every minute together.  I was rewarded by, “Mommy, today was a blast.  You are the best mommy EVER!”  Totally made it worth it!   Today, we are spending the day in the kitchen cooking and baking.  She is cleaning up the last mess we made while I quickly post this so we can get started on some cupcakes.  Yum!

Thanks for stopping by today.

Such a wonderful sign you've created! I love how you coloured the letters the same as the bench! I love the solid look to it!
So glad you're able to spend some one on one time with your daughter! Such fun!
