This is one of my favorite scriptures as a mom. It inspires me and reminds me of what my priorities should be. If I put God first in my home and raise my children to love Him, then they (and I) will have peace. What mother doesn’t want peace for her children?

This verse is such a treasure! Taught of the Lord! So many people wonder why I want to homeschool my kids....saying I have so many other things that I could better use my time as. Like working to earn money for my family. Well....my answer is this. I want my children to be brought up in the fear and admonition of the Lord. If I send my kids to public school, someone else will be teaching them....not likely the Lord. At home the scriptures are freely read and used. What better way to allow them to be taught of the Lord.
Now I know that many children are public school taught and I know that God can teach them through it as well. I just think that at home is best.
The peace when our family is focused on His truth, is just astounding.
