I know my blog has been very quiet lately. I have been working on some projects around the house. Right now, I am focused on my daughter’s room. It has needed attention for a long time. She has been living with remnants from her older sister. I will be painting her room this weekend, then repainting most of her furniture to match the new color scheme. I am very excited to see it all done. I will be sure to show pictures of the finished product.
In the meantime, I thought I would share the desktop that I made for June.
I used the “Follow Your Bliss” scrapbook kit by Syndee Nuckles from Scrapgirls.com. The calendar brush is from ScrapNFonts. My daughter and my daughter-in-law’s birthdays are this month, so they get the special place on my laptop. (It also helps me not to forget to make a card.) It’s hard to believe my daughter will be 22 this year. She does not look that old in these pictures, (or in real life for that matter). She really hates that people still think she’s 12, and I guess I can’t blame her.
I made this for my ipad.
and this for my iphone.
I will be back with a card in the near future. I plan to post new WORDart next week, but I will be switching the release day to Thursdays.
Enjoy your day!
