Proverbs 17:17 WORDart

I was thinking about my friends recently and this scripture came to my mind.   I thought about how different my friends are and how different the friendships vary from friend to friend.  There is a whole rainbow spectrum of friendships.  I am thankful for those friends who are always there for me, but I am even more thankful for my Friend of all friends.  Jesus is my greatest friend…He never hurts me, disappoints me, shares my secrets, or gossips about me.  He is there for me before I even know I need Him, always guiding me, encouraging me and lifting me up when I am down.  What an awesome friend He is!

The card~

I started with a base of Aqua Mist cardstock.  I used Wild Raspberry patterned paper from K & Company.  I cut a piece 1/4 inch smaller than my card base, then ran it through my Cuttlebug using the Linen impression plate and adhered it to my card.  I then cut another piece of paper 5 1/2 x 3 inches and die cut both of the long sides using the Edgers #1 die and adhered it to the center of my card using foam tape.  I added a banner cut from aqua mist cardstock using the double ended banner die and added pearls to the ends after adding my WORDart.  The WORDart was printed onto vintage cream cardstock and die cut with a long rectangles die.  I glued some coordinating patterned paper to a clear button and tied it with twine before adhering it to my card using a glue dot.
