A Delightful Dahlia Birthday

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

A quick post to share this card with you today.  I started with kraft cardstock that I used the book print impression plate on to add texture.  I then stamped the library card with Antique Linen distress ink onto vintage cream cardstock that I cut with the library card die.  The edges were distressed using the Antique Linen distress ink and the sentiment was stamped in Hawaiian Shores ink.  I wrapped the baker’s twine around the card and tied it to a Hawaiian Shores button.  The flowers and leaves are from the Delightful Dahlia set stamped with Versamark onto Hawaiian Shores and New Leaf cardstock cut with the coordinating dies.  I added some glitter to the center to add just a little bit of bling to the card.

All supplies (except the green apple Divine Twine, Versamark and Antique Linen distress ink) are from Papertrey.

Have a blessed day!

This is delightful, Karen! I love the kraft with a pop of color. Looks like something Dawn Mcvey would make.
Did you just change your blog background or am I just late in noticing? I'm really loving the pink pattern.

So funny...I was going to say this IS delightful! Someone beat me to it, but that doesn't change the fact that this is really spot on gorgeous--nicely done! :-D

I just bought all the Divine Twine too - - love what it adds...and it's just the right homespun touch to this pretty card too.
