Happy Tuesday!
This is a birthday card I made. I was going for a more masculine look. I used Kraft paper as my base and stamped the image from Basic Backgrounds: Retro three times in Dark Chocolate ink. The star is from Star Prints and is stamped in Enchanted Evening. The sentiment is from Birthday Basics and is stamped in Pure Poppy. I wrapped red baker’s twine (from Martha Stewart) around the card three times and tied it in a knot.
There it is…my simple, almost one-layer masculine birthday card.

Oh really cute. Sometimes you just want a clean and simple card and this is just right. Good use of the craft paper base and red twine...great contrast of color and texture..
