Oh Me, Oh My

Masculine cards...it takes me forever to decide what to do, what stamp to use, what embellishments to use, how to lay it out so it doesn't look "too girlie". Once I figure all that out, the card making process is a joy and tends to go pretty quickly. So, I made this masculine birthday card using a lighthouse stamp from Inkadinkado stamped in Enchanted Evening and cut with curved rectangle nestibilities. The patterned paper is from Basic Grey Boxer paper pack and is matted onto Scarlet Jewel cardstock onto a card base of Papertrey White. I took a strip of Enchanted Evening cardstock and embossed it with the distressed stripes embossing folder, then wrapped some twine around it. The sentiment is from Faux Ribbon and cut with a tag from Tag Trio nestibilities. I added an Enchanted Evening button tied with twine to the tag with a glue dot.
For the inside, I stamped the sentiment from Birthday Basics in Scarlet Jewel. I added a strip of the same paper I used on the front matted to some Enchanted Evening cardstock.
