A Birthday Chapel

Happy Wednesday! I used a Thomas Kincade stamp to make this birthday card. It is called "The Forest Chapel". I stamped it in Faded Jeans distress ink onto Vintage Cream cardstock and matted it onto a silver metallic paper. I used Scarlet Jewel as my card base and stamped the canvas backgrounder stamp in Versamark and embossed it with Transcendence embossing powder. It is hard to see in the photo but the texture really pops out in real life. The sentiment from Vintage Picnic Sentiments is stamped in Scarlet Jewel and die cut with a ribbon tag. I used some silver organza ribbon to adhere it to the card. I really do wish I could learn to take a photo that truly captured the subject the way it looks in real life. Maybe I should take a photography class next. Mmmm...

Have a blessed day and thanks for stopping by.

Beautiful Karen!

I know what you mean about the photography part....so many times I must use the photo editing program to lighten up my card, then it looks like fake light! Oh well, if you find that photography class online, let me know! lol
take care and have a beautiful day!
Blessings, Maria
