Family Time

My family all came for my son's graduation. We had such a nice time together. We decided we would go to the strawberry farm and pick strawberries together. Strawberry picking brings back such sweet memories for me. I have wonderful memories of going strawberry picking with my grandfather. I treasure those memories and I was so excited that my children will have memories of picking strawberries with their grandfather. Here are some pics.
I thought this was such a sweet picture of my dad and my niece working together. Aubrey was such a serious strawberry picker.
And the reward. We actually picked two and half of these. It sure doesn't take long when you have 20 people picking. They were so delicious!
Thanks for letting me share a little about my family. I will be honest and tell you that I have missed a few days of my "picture a day" challenge. I think I made up the difference when my family was here. I took a lot of pictures.

Have a great day!

I picked strawberries as a kid but the farm is gone now. My kids and I pick blueberries every summer. There's a blueberry farm walking distance from our house and we love going there. We also have blackberries that grow wild beside our driveway and we brave the thorns and pick those too.

We use to do this too! We would get them home and my sister would say she was canning them....she really just ate them as fast as she could!

Great pictures!!! We had a large strawberry patch in our garden when I was growing up. My grandfather tended the garden, so we had wonderful times together also. Sometimes I undid all his work but he was so sweet to me.
