Yellow Daisies

Have you ever had to make a card, but you just didn't know where to begin? That's the way I felt the other day when I needed to make a birthday card. I decided to use a set that had not seen ink yet-Treasure It by The Angel Company. I really had so much fun with this set and put it back on the top shelf within easy reach. I stamped the daisies in Paris Lights and Summer Sunrise, then added some Star Dust Stickles just to the center of the yellow daisies. I stamped the sentiment in Summer Sunrise and adhered my card front to Summer Sunrise cardstock. Wa la, super easy one layer card... great for mailing!

I had a wonderful Mother's Day. My husband and children made me dinner and cleaned up afterwards. Such a nice treat! They gave me CASH, woo-hoo...now I am trying to figure out what I want to buy on my wish list. My daughter and son-in-law gave me a beautiful engraved frame with a picture of the them and my husband and I on their wedding day. It has already found a special place in my family room. My favorite gifts of all were the cards and the special little notes they each wrote to me. I will treasure them forever. I am so very blessed to have such a great family. I enjoy every minute of being their mom and a wife to their father.

Have a blessed day!

Karen, this card is lovely! Summer Sunrise is my current fav PTI color. I got my Mother's Day cash early because my husband was out of town that weekend and I convinced him I needed to order early so I could have my stuff before Mother's Day. Hee Hee. I spent 95% of it with PTI.
