A Masculine Birthday Card

Ok, all you bloggers out there, how do you come up with blog post titles? I am so title challenged it is not funny. I never know what to put in the title space. I spend more time trying to figure out what to put in there than typing my entire post.

Anyways, this is a birthday card I made for a male friend. I find masculine cards to be a challenge and almost always find myself reaching for Father Knows Best. This is the first time; however, I have used the circular tree image. I really like it. The grass is from Mountain Scenery.
I stamped the image on the inside as well. I like to continue the card on the inside using something that coordinates from the front. The sentiment is from Everyday Blessings.

I know my blog posts have been infrequent, that will change soon. I just need to get through this wedding. Ironically, I have more birthday cards to make in the month of March than any other month of the year. I am still creating, but struggling to find the time to post. To all of my blogging buddies on SCS, I am sorry I have not had the time to visit your blogs or participate in the challenges, but I intend to catch up. Please be patient with me. There is a light at the end of the tunnel!

Have a great day!

Supplies

Stamps- Mountain Scenery (TAC), Father Knows Best, Everyday Blessings (Papertrey), Greetings (The Paper Company)
Paper-Kraft, New Leaf (Papertrey)
Ink- Palette Burnt Umber, New Leaf (Papertrey)

Love your card, especially the one you popped out.

O know what you mean about blog post titles! They are the last part of the post for me.

Hopefully all the wedding plans are coming together smoothly.

I think you did a great job with your masculine card - very elegant and definitely masculine. Love the owl too.

you did a wonderful job with this card! love the stamps - so whimsical and fun! I am weird in that I happen to love making masculine cards - guess that is what happens when you're the only female in a house FILLED with guys!!!! they are always telling me if a card is too girly (which it usually is for their tastes! )
