Pink Strawberries

I made this journal for my daughter's friend who just celebrated her birthday. The paper is from the DCWV Nana's Nursery Baby Girl collection. I painted the spine with acrylic paint to match the paper. The green scalloped paper is Bazzill cut with nestibilities. I used my JustRite stamps once again to stamp her name. I really love my JustRite stamps. I have used them so much...definitely worth the investment. The swirly stamps are from Boxes, Bags and Tags (Papertrey).
Of course, I had to make the card to match. I made a pop up gift card holder, as seen on the Hero Arts Blog. The image is from Girlz & Boyz from The Angel Company, colored with Copic markers. The flower is from the Bride Collection at Michaels, rhinestones are Martha Stewart.
Here is a look at the inside. The circle stamp is from Borders & Corners Circle (Papertrey) and the sentiment is from The Paper Company.

Have a great day!

Jim Brickman

I love Jim Brickman's music. I am such a fan of his. My wonderful husband took me to his concert Saturday night. It was fabulous, as always. This was the third time I have seen him in concert, and I am never disappointed. It was a great break from the hustle and bustle of the season. If you have ever been to a Jim Brickman concert you know just a relaxing it is. I really needed a time out and it was perfect. Thanks, honey, for an amazing evening. I love you!

Monograms

I found these unfinished letters at Michaels and thought they would make great gifts. I spray painted this one brown. I used the Cricut cartridge Home Accents to cut the swirls and my Cuttlebug Olivia alphabet for the letters. I cut the letters out of fun foam and paper and then used my Xyron to adhere them. I like the dimension it gives. I added pink rhinestones to some of the swirls and to dot the i. Sorry the pictures are not that great.
I made a bunch of these. I will be sharing more in the next few days.

Have a great day!

Winter Centerpiece

I was going through my pictures and found this centerpiece I had made for a Ladies event at our church, so I thought I would share.

I should have some things to post soon. You see, the big problem is, that most of the stuff I am working on is for people who may be reading my blog and I don't want to spoil any surprises. I do have some things that I will be posting in the next few days, so hang tight.

I also want to acknowledge another award I received from Amy. Thank you so much, Amy. I will try to get links posted to those I am passing it on to soon.

So stinkin' busy...and an award

I have been so ridiculously busy lately and have not been posting. On the up side, I have been working on tons of projects and have lots of things to share just as soon as I find the time to take and post the pictures. I still have lots of things in the works that require my attention, but I will try to do better with the posting. I apologize to those in my blogging group for not visiting your blogs, I am working on getting caught up. I am excited about completing the challenges I missed...those are on the to do list, too. Anyone else's to do list growing instead of shrinking?

I want to thank Sara for the award she gave me. I feel very honored! You should really check out her blog if you haven't already. She makes the most darling House Mouse cards. I am posting it now before I forget and will try to get back over the next few days to pass it on. Thanks again, Sara!
