The surgery is nothing to be too concerned about. In 1981, when I had my gall bladder out, it was pretty major. <br /><br />A couple of months ago my brother had his out and was home the very next day. He doesn&#39;t even have much of a scar to show for it.<br /><br />Believe me, what you have been going through already is much worse than the surgery. And your life does not have to change afterwards.
