I am always amazed, and completely humbled, when I think of how the God who created the universe…who created all the beauty around me…cares about me.  He really does desire to help us, to be a part of our lives and to have a relationship with us.  How awesome is that!!

Thanks so much for stopping by.

It’s Friday—How About a printable

It’s Friday!  The last Friday in July 2013.  That hardly seems possible. I hope the summer has been kind to you.  It has been very hot here, but yesterday was such a beautiful day.  I even turned off the air conditioner and opened the windows.  That didn’t last too long though, it’s back on. I loved the fresh, autumn-like air while it lasted.  Fall will be here soon, and that is my favorite season.  Don’t get me wrong, I am NOT trying to rush summer, but I do love fall.

I have a printable for you today.  I designed this for a ladies meeting at our church and wanted to share it with my readers as well.  Enjoy!

I love this scripture so much!  I find this verse so encouraging and exciting!  God is faithful!   He keeps His covenants and mercy to them that love Him and keep His commandments!  The part that excites me the most is, “to a thousand generations”.  What an awesome promise!!!!  I am so thankful for His faithfulness!

Etsy shop update:

I know a lot of my readers subscribe through email or different readers and may not notice if my mini Etsy on my sidebar has been updated, so I wanted to include a quick update in this post.  Here are some of the things I have been working on for my Etsy shop.  (Actually, they have been done for some time, just waiting to be photographed and listed.)  If you’re interested in seeing more, you can find them here.

I am so thankful for the joy of the Lord and for His salvation.  I am also thankful that His well never runs dry or gets contaminated, but it is always fresh and new with an everlasting supply.  Do you know the joy of His salvation?  I would like to encourage you to read the book of Acts where it talks about the early church.  It’s such an exciting book!

Have a blessed day!

Word Art Wednesday…a day late--1 Timothy 4:12

Good morning!

I’m sorry I forgot to post this yesterday.  I got a little carried away on a project I was working on and the day completely slipped away from me.  I’m think you probably understand how that works.  Anyways, a day late, but here is the WORDart that I designed for Word Art Wednesday this week.

This is such a great scripture of how the Bible tells us to live our lives as Christians.  We are an example to others, representing Christ, by our actions.  People don’t really care what we say as much as what we do.  Our words and our actions must be saying the same thing.  I know I am far from perfect and I strive to do just that every day.  I want to live my life to please Him.

What are your plans this summer? My summer is filled with projects as they always are.  Summer is my off time since I homeschool and my list is always much longer than my summer.  My list includes (but is not limited to): redecorating my master bedroom (well, actually decorating my master bedroom, since we haven’t done anything with it in the 10 years we’ve lived here), painting and organizing my sons’ room, painting the upstairs hallway, co-hosting my daughter’s baby shower, filling sign orders, filling a large etched glasses order, organizing our school room, planning next year’s school curriculum…and the list keeps growing.  Oh, and I am working on a new digital stamp set in my stolen moments with an encouragement theme.  So…if you don’t catch me blogging much, I am probably trying to cross something off that list.  Maybe I’ll come back and share my accomplishments, accountability is always a good thing.

Thank you so much for stopping by.

I hope you can take a few minutes to stop by the Word Art Wednesday blog.

I don’t know about you, but my summer is passing much too quickly.  I have been so, so busy.  I apologize for the very short and infrequent posts.

To all of my American readers, enjoy the 4th of July and all of it’s festivities as we celebrate the birth of our nation. God bless America!
