Psalm 98:1 WORDart

Here is this week’s WORDart.  Click on it to download.

Psalm 98:1

I am amazed at the way God works sometimes.   I chose and created this wordart several weeks ago.  Little did I realize the events that would transpire just days before I posted it.  It ties in perfectly with the miraculous birth of my granddaughter, Jaliyah Grace.  My son was asked to share the story of her birth, which truly is a testimony to the victorious life we live in Christ.  God has done a marvelous thing and I thought I would share his testimony with you here.

Jaliyah was born On 1/24/2012 At final delivery faces went from happy to scared. Jaliyah's shoulders were distorted and this means that Jaliyah was stuck and she was being suffocated. She was not breathing for 3 minutes....hear the story........God is a miracle worker!!

Thank you for stopping by today.  May God richly bless you and do marvelous things in your life.  If he already has, share it!  I would love to hear it.

SHE’S HERE!!!!!

Announcing the arrival of Jaliyah Grace.

Our granddaughter, Jaliyah Grace Murray, was born January 24 at 8:05pm.  She weighed 10lbs 15.4 oz. and is 20 3/4 inches long.  That is one big baby!  She had a rough and traumatic entry into the world, but mom and baby are doing great.  What a thrill to finally hold her in my arms.

WARNING: lots of pictures (I couldn’t choose one or two so I am posting all of my favorites.)

2 Corinthians 5:17 WORDart

I love to shop at thrift stores or yard sales and find the things that others no longer need/want and give them a makeover.  I love to clean them up, repaint and add my own little details to them…to make them mine and a reflection of my style and personality.    That is exactly what Christ did for me!  He took my old dirty, ugly self and breathed life into me.  He took away the old and made me a brand new creature.  It is my desire that He make me a reflection of Him.   I know from experience that that doesn’t always come easy.  Sometimes it takes a lot of sanding and buffing,  chipping away at the gunk that hides the beauty, but the end result is always worth the effort that is put into it.  I am so thankful that He loves me enough to never give up on me, to keep working away at me and make me His.

Revelation 21:5 WORDart

I’m back!!!  Thank you so much for your patience while I took a little time off.  It is so good to be back.  I trust you all had a wonderful Christmas and your new year is off to a good start.  I think this is the first year I have not made any resolutions.  I figured that I have never kept them anyway, so why put that kind of pressure on myself.  ;)  I have, however; decided to take each day as it is given to me and make the most of that day.  I have always thanked God for everyday that He gave me, but I haven’t always used that day in the best way.  I definitely need to improve on that—mmmm, maybe I did make a resolution after all.
I am going to do something different and have a theme for the whole month.  I am not sure I will continue this for the whole year, but I am going to give it a try and see how it goes.  Of course, I would love feedback and suggestions from my readers!!!
The theme for the month of January is NEW!
Revelation 21:5
Revelation 21:5 printable 4 x 6
And, because they have been so popular, I have made a printable in 4 x6 size.  It can be downloaded here.   I know chevron is not new anymore, but I still love it.  The orange font, however;  is the new Pantone color of the year, Tangerine Tango.
Revelation 21:5 framed
Here is a picture of it framed.  Sorry for the bad pic, we weren’t having the best picture taking weather yesterday.
Speaking of NEW, we are expecting our new granddaughter any day.  I am so excited, I can’t wait to finally meet her!
Thanks for stopping by.
